Marcus Partners Expands Southeast Platform with Opening of Atlanta Office

Industry Veteran Casey Barber Joins as Senior Vice President, Investments

Marcus Partners, a real estate investment, management, and development firm, announced today that Casey Barber has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Investments and opened the firm’s Atlanta Office. Casey is responsible for continuing to expand the firm’s investments in the Southeast alongside Partner Andrew Dolinsky.

The opening of an Atlanta office comes on the heels of the firm’s successful acquisition earlier this year of the 287-unit Heights at Shadowood apartment complex, and represents a strategic re-entry to the market after investing in the Southeast in previous fund vintages.  The firm views the Southeast as a high-potential region to expand its vertically integrated investment platform across the industrial and multifamily asset classes.

“Casey brings exceptional sourcing capabilities, deep market knowledge, and a proven track record of executing complex transactions across the Southeast,” said Andrew Dolinsky, Partner of Marcus Partners. “His relationships, investment discipline, and leadership experience make him the ideal person to establish and scale our presence in Atlanta.”

Barber’s experience spans acquisitions, capital markets, asset strategy, team leadership, and partner engagement across major Sunbelt markets. Over his career, Casey closed the acquisition of 140+ properties totaling over $8.0bn in transaction volume.

Barber joins Marcus Partners from RPM Living, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Investments. Prior to RPM Living, Barber spent nearly a decade at CARROLL. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a BBA in Real Estate (Cum Laude).
