Ryan serves as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer. Ryan leads the Acquisition team in driving forward investment strategy and is deeply involved with portfolio construction. Ryan is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to his current role, Ryan served as the firm’s Co-Chief Investment Officer alongside Bill McAvoy. Ryan led the firm’s investment efforts in Metro Boston and has been critical in the firm’s success in the industrial and multifamily asset classes.

Ryan joined Marcus Partners from Bentall Kennedy, one of North America’s largest real estate investment managers and advisors. During his time at Bentall Kennedy, he played a lead role in expanding the firm’s Boston footprint, highlighted by several acquisitions in Boston’s Seaport District. Ryan sourced opportunities across product types with a heavy focus on multifamily and industrial acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy, Ryan worked at GID Investment Advisors, a Boston-based real estate investment firm where he focused on the acquisition and development of multifamily communities along the East Coast.

Ryan received a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
